Experience these friendly Spa Fish nibbling on the dead skin of your feet, hands or body, leaving your skin healthy and glowing. This feel good therapy is good for men and woman of all ages.

The Spa Fish are native to eastern Africa lakes. The Turkish Spa Fish are well known Garra Rufa, native to hot springs, lakes and river basins of the Middle East. In Turkey the Spa Fish are called "Doctor Fish".

Therapy

Since the 1950's, Garra rufa fish have been used for specialized spa treatments for people with skin problems like psoriasis, eczema, body acne and dry skin. This hardy fish species are known to be able to survive hot springs with water up to 40ºC!

Kisses from real Fish

Dr Fish treatments are done with real Garra Rufa Fish which exfoliate and clear dead skin enzymes off the body, leaving the skin silky and soft. These toothless friendly fish give benefits by cleansing and exfoliating unwanted skin, improving circulation, disinfecting the skin, healing scratches, spots and wounds on the skin. This assists in the treatment of skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne and many more skin conditions. These treatments are known to help centre the body and lowers high blood pressure and anxiety sufferers.

In November 2008 we introduced these feel good fishes to our spa, making us the first in South Africa to introduce and incorporate this exotic treatment onto the spa.
